Sabrina Carpenter has handled the competitive fire of the Billboard charts with ease, but she didn’t fare as well with spicy chicken wings in the latest episode of Hot Ones. The chart-topping 25-year-old pop star tried to answer questions about her current hit singles and breakout music career while eating progressively hotter chicken wings with host Sean Evans. But things quickly got much too heated for Carpenter’s taste.
“That was so crazy…You just want to scream,” Sabrina cried after taking a bite of a particularly hot wing. “Oh my god! It’s really, really hot. Has anyone ever sued you?” But Carpenter did manage to land one last clever line about the title of her forthcoming album, Short N’ Sweet, before the episode ended. With tears filling her eyes from the overwhelmingly spicy wings, Sabrina joked, “Notice I didn’t call it Short N’ Spicy because I like sweet things better.” (Billboard)
